Kuala Selangor trip on CNY holidays yehaa !

CNY holidays makes me thinking of what to do. I thought it is best to go for a spin to test my car after being repaired which cost me of more than 1K. Damn! my old Pug really sucks me dry and leaves a big hole in my wallet and takes time to recover.

I suggested to friends by telling them that this long holidays need to be fulfilled wisely or otherwise, I might end up having an over bloats tummy due to sleeping overdose at mum' s place after every heavy lunch. I asked Z if she is available for Kuala Selangor trip. Well, she didn't wait till I open my mouth and immediately agreed as she is kinda 'athletic outgoing' person and would not miss any opportunity to use her 'extra' energy to max especially during long holidays. Name it mountain climbing or jungle tracking, water rafting, 'sight see' in the middle of god-knows-where-in-the-jungle, she would obliged with a big smile 'sampai ke telinga' gitu. Jimy with his 5 hyperactive kids also roped in as they got nowhere to go this long holidays.

We reached Kuala Selangor at about 12.30 pm from Kuala Lumpur through Sg Buloh - Ijok - Bukit Rotan - Kuala Selangor road and bought a RM2 ticket each for a fun train ride up to Bukit Melawati. We started walking around as soon we reached the highest peak on that hill and here are some pictures for you to see and tell me what would be your opinion. I'm using Z 's 5 mega pixel digital camera. How I wish I could have that lovely DSLR camera someday. Sigh!

These Lotongs surrounded a couple who tried to feed them with long beans and one of them tried to grab the women's handbag and being smacked by the man instead. I cant understand how this couple could bear the smell of these Lotongs around them. The smells of these Lotongs was so unpleasant to bear! Trust me!

Dark and gloomy cloud telling us its time to leave. The 'rumah api' stood Right in front of place of sigh seeing of the new moon every time before Ramadan and Eid Fitri.

And we went down Bukit Melawati with this fun train. Every time the driver did his manoeuvring while taking the corner, the crowd would cheers admiring at his skills.

After we had lunch at the Kuala Selangor town, we headed for Bagan Pasir in search for some freshly caught fish at Pasir Penambang or Bagan Pasir area. Pasir Penambang is about a few hundred metres from Bukit Melawati, after the Kuala Selangor town bridge but Bagan Pasir would be another 8 km away to Tanjung Karang. Mum did mention that she 'terhingin' to taste some fresh tiger prawns or fresh crabs but I feel bad to disappoint her as there was no fresh prawns or crabs available in Bagan Pasir because of CNY eve.

I shall come again next time mum and this time I know exactly where is the best place that I can get fresh crabs, prawns and fishes. Please hold on to your 'terhingin' thingy!

Feeling disappointed, we headed south bound back to Kuala Selangor and reached Bagan Pasir seafood restaurant. Its time to enjoy some fresh sea food. This place called Restoran Ikan Bakar pantai Jeram.

These fish line ups would cost you a bomb if you're not really choose what you really want to eat carefully. The dinner cost us RM126 for one kerapu, few prawns, few cockles and few crabs. Cheap ? No ?

N
ext trip is to Melaka InsyAllah!. Z immediately agrees to my suggestion. Pantang diajak !...
